The benefits of an account with Van Abbemuseum

Set up your own personal account and you will be able to follow your on-going and delivered orders at any time. You can also change your details easily when required. After logging in you can choose the address you desire for delivery and the invoice by selecting them directly from your address book.

Wish List
With an account you can also save products in a Wish List. These products are kept in your Wish List for subsequent visits. You can move products from your Wish List to the Shopping Basket with just one click.

Forgotten password?

Request a new password to get back to shopping again quickly. An e-mail will first be sent to the e-mail address that you sent us. This e-mail contains a link. Click on this link and enter your new password.

We do not save any bank or payment details. Read our privacy statement for more information on saving personal information.

Order process
In our webshop, each order comprises 4 fixed steps. If you already have an account with us, you will be able to complete some steps with just one click. When at the end of your order you click on Place Order, you thereby automatically agree to our General Terms of Delivery.

After placing an order, you will immediately be sent a confirmation of your order by e-mail. You will receive the invoice by e-mail after your order has been processed. 

Order safely
When placing an order, check whether you are on a secure page. You should see https:// to the left of the web address. Never give your password to someone else.

Be alert to Phising. Phising is the fraudulent practice of sending e-mails on behalf of reputable websites such as our webshop. In these e-mails criminals ask for your personal (login) details. We would never ask you to do so via the e-mail. So never divulge your details if you are not sure who the sender is. If you suspect Phising, please forward us the e-mail that you received.

Payment
When you pay for your order, you can pay by iDEAL (then choose your own bank), credit cards, PayPal or Cash on Delivery (COD). COD is only possible if the order is delivered to your own address. Count on € 15.95 (to 20 kg) or € 20.20 (from 20 to 30 kg) in additional costs.

VAT
All prices quoted are including 21% VAT, but excluding delivery costs. The VAT is indicated on the invoice.

Delivery costs
We deliver all orders through PostNL. We use standard postal charges for each order.

Submitting a complaint
Do you have a complaint? Then of course we regret this. Contact us at museumwinkel@vanabbemuseum.nl.  Send a letter to Van Abbemuseum, Postbus 235, 5600 AE Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Or phone us at +31 40 2381047. We will try to respond and rectify the complaint within a week, but in any case within 14 days. We need this time to possibly consult with the printer of the art cards.

We consider a complaint as valid if it was not caused by:

  1. intentional damage or damage through negligence;
  2. improper use or negligent maintenance;
  3. normal wear.

Returning an order

Ordered cards or card sets cannot be returned. They are made for you personally.
